Trans World Express to Reduce Flight Schedule at Sioux Gateway AIrport

Trans World Express notified the Airport today of one schedule change for October. Beginning October 1st the Airport will lose its 10:35 AM departure to St. Louis.

Northwest to Reduce Flights at Sioux Gateway Airport

On September 15th Northwest Airlines announced a 20% reduction in flight schedules in response to the terrorist attacks in New York and at the Pentagon.  Mesaba Airlines, d/b/a Northwest Airlink, also announced on Monday that they would reduce their flight schedule by 20%.

Airport Reopens for Commercial Flights at 10:00 a.m.

Sioux Gateway Airport Director announced that the Airport will open for commercial and general aviation flights at 10:00 a.m. this morning.

Ribbon Cutting Reminder

The Sioux Gateway Airport will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, September 13th at 4:15 p.m. to officially introduce the Northwest Airlines’ Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) to the Sioux Gateway Airport market.
