Airport to Hold Disaster Excercise June 9th

SIOUX CITY, IA - The Airport will be holding a full-scale aircraft disaster exercise Saturday, June 9th starting at 10:00 am. The Airport is required to hold such a drill every three years, with a tabletop disaster exercise requirement in the interim years. “Victims” of the disaster exercise will begin to be moulaged at 8:00 am. If you are interested in covering this mutual aid disaster exercise please gather at the second floor terminal building conference room at 7:45 am for the moulage, and/or at 9:30 am for the disaster exercise. If you would like to participate in the exercise as a news media agency/representative, please call the Airport Director prior to June 9th.
