Airport Unveils New Website

SIOUX CITY, IA – Glenn Januska, Director of Sioux Gateway Airport/Col. Bud Day Field, announced today the launch of a new Airport website.  The Airport website address, www.flysiouxgateway.com, provides visitors a whole host of information on the Airport, services provided, and traveler tips.  “We’re very happy to be able to provide timely and useful information to users of the Airport,” said Januska.  “The Airport is open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, and many of the facilities and services are open most or all hours of the day also.  Airport users are increasingly looking for information about a trip or the Airport when they want the information, not when our administration office is open.  This use of technology helps us provide information when and where our users want it.”

Some of the information available on the website includes: a current airline schedule, travel tips, a travel agent listing, a listing of terminal building amenities and services, parking and rental car information, general aviation information, rental property information, past newsletters and press releases, and an Airport photo gallery.  “We already have changes and new features for the website planned, including an airline ticket give-away program, launch of a frequent user program, and a new and innovative way for people to track commercial flights into and out of the Airport, so we hope people will visit the website often,” said Januska.
