Northwest Regional Get Inaugural Service June 1st.

SIOUX CITY, IA - Northwest Airlines will begin Regional Jet (RJ) service Friday, June 1st at the Sioux Gateway Airport. This RJ service will be the first regional jet service offered from the Airport. The first aircraft departure will be Friday, June 1st at 6:40 am, and the second departure at 1:00 pm. Airport representatives will be on hand for the first scheduled departure on the 1st. This would be a good opportunity to showcase the new regional jets and gauge the reaction/opinion by those flying on the new aircraft, as well as to get footage of the new aircraft in the Sioux City market.
